These are some quick sketches that I made for a hand carved stamp. This is for a special order for Melissa.

I have been feeling an urge to paint lately. I mean I feel like stopping everything and just paint, so I got very inspired this weekend and got myself some acrylics and paper and started to paint.
All started because I was thinking about the Mexican woodcarvings better known as "alebrijes", and I wanted to paint something similar but not quite exactly the same. I keep drawing all day saturday until some ideas came to me and this is what I came up at the end.
I have tried watercolors before but this time I wanted something more deep in color, more saturated. I am happy with the final painting.
